An architect-designed cabin for two, tucked amongst the trees on the Yorkshire Coast.

Designed by North Yorkshire architect Andrew Hayes, The Lodge combines natural materials, considered interiors and everything you need for an easy escape by the coast.

Inside, you'll find a king-size bed, fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Outside, the private deck and cast-iron bath are made for slow mornings and evenings beneath the trees.

Burniston sits between Scarborough and Whitby, with the Cleveland Way, Cinder Track and North York Moors all within easy reach.

A bath beneath the trees.

Step down from your private deck and sink into the outdoor cast-iron bath, tucked beneath the canopy of a 100-year-old beech tree. Unlike a hot tub, it is filled with fresh water for each use, allowing you to choose the perfect temperature and take your time beneath the leaves.

The bath is exclusively for your use and available throughout your stay, with hot and cold running water. Set beside your private deck, it overlooks the neighbouring field, which is occasionally in use, so we recommend wearing swimwear. Robes and towels are waiting inside.
